Cash & Carry

We have been investing in automation for several years. At the beginning of 2006 we have expanded our system with a module that enables us to operate a Cash & Carry system. This is how it works:

As a registered Barendsen client you can visit our company and check out our stock personally. You will be given a handheld (handcomputer) to do your shopping. When you are interested in buying a product, you can read the barcode with the handheld and instantly you will get the price and quantity available. If you wish you can then enter the quantity and make the buy! As soon as you have completed your shoppinglist the products will be collected, packed and made ready for transport.

The Cash & Carry option can be offered to a limited number of clients.
